Paul Leonard Cross, MSgt

Paul, longtime resident of Biloxi, was born May 13, 1944 in Washington, DC to John Willard Cross and Annie Pauline Manuel Cross. He was preceded in death by his first wife of less than a year, Julia Elizabeth ""Judy"" Rhodes Cross and his second wife of 47 years, Erika L. Blume Cross, both his parents and his brother, John Wayne Cross. Paul proudly served in the United States Air Force for 23 years as a Wideband Communications Equipment Technician (many of them overseas) as well as an Instructor at Keesler AFB. After retirement from the Air Force, Paul worked as a security guard at the President Casino and also owned the former Coast Suntan Salon.
Paul is survived by his children, Hans (Linda) Cross of Columbus, MS; Susan (Derek) Pinkerton of Valdosta, GA; Carol (Larry) Boyd of Fort Walton Beach, FL; and Michael (Jennifer) Cross of Biloxi, MS
Five Grandchildren - Hayley & Jaclyn Pinkerton of Valdosta, GA; Tyler & Kailyn Cross of Biloxi, MS and Dylan Cross of Altus, OK
Sisters in Law - Hazel Cross of Springfield, VA and Hannelore Richter of Germany
Niece and Nephews - Angelika Knorr, Wolfgang Richter & Klaus Peter Richter of Germany
Special thanks to all the staff at the Biloxi VA that have done a wonderful job taking care of our dad over the years.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, July 28, 2015 from 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, 2004 Pass Road, Biloxi. The funeral service will follow at 12:30 p.m.
Interment with military honors will be in Biloxi National Cemetery.
