Paul Edward Martin

Paul Edward Martin, age 58 of Lizana, passed away on January 7, 2024.

He was preceded in death by his father, Clint “Titty Baby” Martin; and his grandparents, Oras Martin, Marsline Cuevas, and Otis and Clara Blackwell.

Paul is survived by his wife of 18 years, Angela Martin; his mother, Elaine Konz; his children, Jimmy Mullen, Michael Simpson (Belinda), Stephen Simpson, Nicki Reeter (David), Pam Stinnett (Cody), and Brian Denning; his siblings, Sandra and James Konz, Jr., and Deedy Babin; his grandchildren, Ashton Denning, Jaiden Reeter, Sophia Reeter, and many more; his godchildren, Aundrea Ladner and Dustin Babin; his niece, Breanna Konz; his nephews, Derrick Konz and Dalton Konz; and 10 great nieces and nephews.

Paul is a native of Pineville, MS, but has been a resident of Lizana since he was 18 years old. He worked at Chrisman Manufacturing in Long Beach for almost 5 years before his passing. He loved to hunt, fish and watch Nascar racing.

Paul surrendered his pain and suffering and gained freedom from his earthly journey, surrounded by his dedicated and loving wife and son, as well as some family and friends. Although Paul had no children of his own, he was a great leader and a positive influence on many kids, and he loved them all. He was also a great influence on many friends and there wasn’t anything he wouldn’t do to help one in need. His kindness, hard work and commitment to his family and friends will be missed by many.
