TSgt Paul A. Lee, USAF Ret., age 76, of Gulfport, died Friday, January 23, 2009 in Gulfport. He was born May 12, 1932 in Chase, Louisiana and lived most of his life in Vicksburg. He retired from the U.S. Air Force after serving his country for 20 years, serving in the Korean War. He moved to the Gulf Coast after his retirement in 1972. He was a member of the American Legion Post 119 and a member of the Acacia Lodge #49 in Las Vegas. He was a 3rd degree Mason. Mr. Lee was of the Baptist faith and he was the associate director of the MS Gulf Coast Fishing Rodeo.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Nettie Lee; sisters, Roma Campbell, Lilly Mae Jones and Nellie Vee Reeves; and brothers, Johnny and R.T. Lee.
Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Elizabeth """"Betty"""" Lee of Gulfport; sons, Richard Andrew Lee (Kathy) of Asheville, NC, David Keith Lee (Betty), Michael Warren Lee and Jeffery Paul Lee, all of Gulfport; sisters, Eva Ramshur and Claudia Norris (Sam) and brother, Boyd Lee, all of Vicksburg. He also leaves behind his nine grandchildren and his 11 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Tuesday, January 27, 2009 from 11:30 a.m. until the service at 1:30 p.m., at the Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport.
