Paul C. Cook, Jr, age 57, of Biloxi, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Cook.
Survivors include his wife, Lisa Cook; his children, Joshua Cook, James (Kyla) Jacobs, Sarah (Joe) Cowart, and Paul C. Cook, III; step-children, Charles Joyner, Nori Bissett, and Amanda Joyner; his father, P.C. Cook; a sister, Anne (Miller) Crawford; a brother, Jay (Cyndi) Cook; 3 grandchildren, Audrey, Ava, and Kaeli; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Paul was a native of Starkville, MS and a graduate of Picayune High School. He served in the U.S. Air Force and later graduated from nursing school from Pearl River Community College. He was employed as a Registered Nurse on the Oncology floor with Memorial Hospital at Gulfport and later worked for MHG Hospice, Odyssey/Gentiva Hospice, and with Notre Dame Hospice. Paul helped hundreds of families along the coast while working as a hospice nurse and each of those families were special to him.
Visitation will be on Saturday, September 16, 2017, from 12 - 2 pm at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 13872 Lemoyne Blvd, Ocean Springs. A funeral service will be at 2 pm in the funeral home chapel.
The family would like to thank Notre Dame Hospice, especially Stephanie Parker, and Dr. Allison Wall for the special love and care during his illness.
