Paul Fremont Burnett Jr., born on December 8, 1934 in Ohio, passed away on January 27, 2025 in Saucier, Mississippi. He lived a life marked by dedication and service, culminating in a fulfilling career as a Cross County Truck Driver for 18 years, where he exemplified the commitment and hard work that define the profession.

In addition to his successful career, Paul proudly served for 23 years with the Seabees, the construction battalion of the United States Navy. His service is a testament to his character, embodying the values of loyalty and perseverance.

An avid enthusiast of various activities, Paul enjoyed bowling, watching Westerns, and traveling. These hobbies brought him joy and were a significant part of his life, enriching his experiences and those around him.

Paul is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years, Elizabeth Burnett, and their children: Rex Burnett, Paula Burnett, Jackie Burnett, Frank Landrum, and Dedra Tyler. He also leaves behind a brother, Gordon Burnett, along with several grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will cherish his memory.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, and a daughter, who are fondly remembered by those he leaves behind.

A burial service to honor Paul’s life will take place on February 10, 2025, at Biloxi National Cemetery in Biloxi, Mississippi. Friends and family are invited to gather at 1:30 PM for the service..

Paul Fremont Burnett Jr. will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His legacy of love, dedication, and spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of his family and friends.   He is now at Peace.
