Patrick O. Callahan passed away on Monday, May 25, 2026 at the age of 68. 

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Karen Callahan, his parents Richard and Joyce Callahan, and his siblings the late Richard Callahan Jr., David Callahan, Sr., Tommy Callahan Sr., Timmy Callahan, and Theresa Callahan.

A lifelong resident of Algiers, LA. He is survived by his sisters, Barbara , Joyce, Martha (Roger), Rose (Randy), Debby (Joe), and Phyllis (Joey). He is also survived by his Sister in law Paula (Tom) and brother in law Keith (Deanna) and his partner Christy. Loving father to Kimberly Ockman, and Patrick Callahan II. Proud grandfather of Raine Marie Ockman, Chloe Grace Callahan and Brynn Callahan. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. 

He never met a stranger, lived life to the fullest, and was the biggest teddy bear you could ever meet. His loss is profound for everyone, but the wonderful memories he leaves are powerful.
