Patricia Hughes

Patricia Ann Hughes, age 83, of Gulfport, passed away on January 6, 2017. She was the daughter of Dempsey and Beatrice McCrary.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Thomas Hughes, Sr.; one daughter, Kellie Ann Hughes; one sister, Doris Lynn Burril and her husband William Harris Burril; and one brother, Dempsey McCrary, Jr.
She is survived by her son, William Thomas Hughes, Jr. and his wife Shirley Forte Hughes of Long Beach. She had two granddaughters, Megan Mills and her husband Robert of Long Beach, and Kellie Schmalzried and her husband Jaden of Plano, TX; and one great-grandson, Collin Hughes Schmalzried.
She was a member of Mississippi City United Methodist Church and worked as the head teller at Hancock Bank for many years. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at 2:30 PM at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 19130 Commission Road, Long Beach. Rev. Rod Rishel will be officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be held at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in Gulfport.
