Pamela Sue West

Pamela Sue West, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on August 2, 2025, in Kiln, Mississippi. Born on November 26, 1956, in Ohio, Pamela touched the lives of all who knew her with a sweet nature and a generous spirit.

Throughout her life, Pamela dedicated herself to the joy of serving others, working as a cashier and waitress in a bustling casino environment. Her career was not just a means of support but a way to connect with people and share her infectious laughter and warmth. She was always ready with a helping hand and consistently put the needs of others before her own, truly embodying selflessness in every action.

Pamela was also a remarkable grandmother, known for her creativity in knitting beautiful clothes for her grandchildren's baby dolls and crafting soft, warm blankets that enveloped them in love. Her grandchildren—Aubree Williams, Kensi Williams, Bryson Williams, Jasper Dibenedetto, Isabella Dibenedetto, Jaylee Gainous, Micah Gainous, and Sailor Smith, along with Quinton, Aviella, Evangelica Smith and Donnie Joseph—will always cherish these heartfelt creations and the laughter they shared together.

She is lovingly remembered by her family, which includes her daughters Toni Dibenedetto (Quinton Williams) and Kristie Dibenedetto, her son Rocco Dibenedetto, Erin Smith Bently, Chad Smith, Corey Smith, and Jeremy Smith.   Pamela is also survived by her siblings Angela Jeanpeirre West (Robin Gibson), Vera West Hill (Jean Hill), Vicky West Lacey, and Joni West Veal.

Pamela was preceded in death by her husbands, Joseph Smith and Rocco Dibenedetto, Jr., as well as her parents, Richard and Joanne West, her brother, Roger Lee West. and her uncle, John West. Though her physical presence will be greatly missed, Pamela's spirit will forever remain in the hearts of her family and friends, a reminder of the laughter and love she generously gave to all. She will be missed dearly, and her legacy of kindness and humor will continue to inspire those she leaves behind.
