Pamela Ann Garner Loftin, age 68, of Gulfport, passed away peacefully on October 25, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Columbia, Mississippi, Pamela made the Gulf Coast her home and built a life filled with laughter, creativity, and love. She spent many memorable years cocktailing at Michael’s Nightclub in Gulfport, where laughter, music, and friendship filled the nights. Those years were some of her happiest she loved the people, the energy, and the sense of family that place brought. When talk began of the President Casino opening, she was filled with excitement and hope for the future. She looked forward to a new chapter, seeking employment with The Broadway Resort as a new broker, eager to be part of the bright promise that the Coast’s growing entertainment scene held. After Hurricane Katrina, she continued her work at the IP Casino, where she made lifelong friendships and was known for her bright smile and caring heart. Pamela retired in 2024, leaving behind years of dedication and memories cherished by those who worked beside her.
Pamela was a true artist at heart. She loved oil painting, creating ceramics, and making festive holiday crafts that brought joy to everyone around her. Just like her mother before her, Pamela found peace in creativity and beauty in the small things. Whether she was tending to her yard or painting something special for a loved one, she poured her heart into everything she did.
To know Pamela was to love her. She was hardworking, thoughtful, and full of life. Her happiest moments were spent with her family, especially her grandchildren, who were her greatest joy. Her warmth, kindness, and gentle spirit will live on through them and in the countless lives she touched.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Zealous and Judy Garner.
Left to treasure her memory are her son, Shane Garner of Biloxi; her siblings, Debbie Carbo and David Garner; four beloved grandchildren, Nicholas Garner, Brennan Garner, Layla Dulaney, and Jameson Dulaney; and her precious great-grandchild, Nikolai Creel. She is also survived by her aunt, Betty Pittman; niece, Courtney Carbo; nephews, Mason and Noah; and her cousin, Sandra Pittman.
Services will be held at a later date.
