Pamela Hatfield

On Sunday, January 22, 2023, in the very early morning, the Lord called Pam home.

Pamela Lou Allen Hatfield was born on August 12, 1955, in Jackson, Mississippi, to Clara Jeanette Moore Allen and Louie Woodrow Allen. She spent her childhood in Jackson and McComb, MS, surrounded by close knit and loving extended family. Pam graduated from Callaway Senior High School in 1973.

Pam welcomed her daughter Mandy in 1975, and her son Trey in 1979. She studied Cosmetology at the Jackson Academy of Beauty, Class of 1977. Pam had a very successful career as a Cosmetologist, owning shops in the Jackson, MS and Tulsa, OK, areas. In the late 1990’s, Pam fulfilled her dream of attending and graduating from Rhema Bible College in Broken Arrow, OK. She participated in leading adult and children’s ministry the remainder of her life.

She married the love of her life, Gary Hatfield, in March of 2000. Pam had an irrepressible spirit, lifelong love of animals, a fantastic sense of style, a playful sense of humor, and an impressive, ear-splitting whistle. Her great love for the Lord infused all areas of her life. She was both gentle and strong willed, with great depth, talent, and sincerity in all she did.

When Pam was diagnosed with leukemia in 2019, she faced it head on, with faith and tenacity. As she navigated treatments, setbacks, and triumphs, her faith never wavered, and she inspired all who knew her. While hospitalized during her final days and despite multiple physical challenges, Pam continued not only to ask for prayers but to fervently praise God and lead others in prayer and song. All who knew her have no doubt Pam is experiencing all the joys of Heaven, fully healed.

Pam is survived by her husband, Gary Hatfield; daughter Mandy Dollarhide & son-in-law Jonathan Dollarhide of Jackson, MS; granddaughters, Krystal Johnson, Faith Frost, & Leah Piol & their spouses; great grandchildren, Jace, Ada, & Kai; son, Trey Crum & daughter-in-law Jennifer Crum of D’Iberville, MS; grandchildren, Raylee, Haley, & Brandon; stepdaughter Laura Orrick, son-in-law Justin Orrick; granddaughter, Kelsey; stepson Kyle Hatfield, daughter-in-law Stephanie Hatfield; grandson, Grizzly; stepson, Dean Hatfield; sister, Linda Allen Lokey, brother-in-law, Hugh Lokey of Broken Arrow, OK and their children Damon Lokey, Marti Robey-Fox, & Rose Lokey Ward. The family would also like to acknowledge the deep love Pam had for her Moore cousins and other extended family, her friends, her church family at the Family Worship Center in Gulfport, MS, & Pastors Dave and Jill Hodges who had a deep influence in her life.
