Opal Margaret Ishee

Mrs. Opal Margaret Blaylock Ishee, 81 years old, went to be with her Lord and Savior on August 18, 2016 in her home surrounded by her family. Mrs. Ishee was born in Sumner, MS. Mrs. Ishee moved to the Coast in 1976 and has been a resident of McHenry, MS since 1996.
Mrs. Ishee was preceded in death by her husband John A. Ishee, Jr. of 60 years; her daughter, Tammy Elaine Ishee of Biloxi, MS; her parents, RM and Era Blaylock; and her brothers, ML Blaylock, Brady Blaylock, and Charles Blaylock.
Survivors include her children, Sharon (Bill) Andrews of Shreveport, LA, John Allen Ishee III of McHenry, MS, Lonna (Scott) Lachner of McHenry, MS; sisters, Charlotte (Ted) Teague and Wanda Blaylock DeLeon, both of Gulfport, MS; brother, Terry (Rachel) Blaylock of Conway, AR; 6 grandchildren, Genesis, TJ, Margaret, Lauren, Jacob and Hannah; and 5 great-grandchildren, Will, Lexi, Jack, Lotus, and Poppy.
Pastor Tommy Havard of Gracepoint Church will be presiding in the service. The family will receive friends on Monday, August 22, 2016 from 6-8 PM at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 23, 2016 at 11 AM in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at McHenry Gardens in McHenry, MS.
