Oma Louise Price Saucier, age 79, of Saucier, passed away on March 17, 2013, in Gulfport.
She was the oldest of five daughters born to Ira D. and Elizabeth Sawyer Price.
At the age of 19, she married her true love, Norman Benis Saucier, and moved to Saucier, MS. She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, and her husband.
Mrs. Saucier is survived by her children, Norman Benis Saucier, Jr., and Oma Carol Campbell, five grandchildren, Melissa, Alison, Catlyn, Calea, and Morgan, 8 great-grandchildren, Laci, Victoria, Kane, Haley, Evan, Emma, Talmadge, and Talia, and dear friends, Robert C. Hayes and Jo Nell Tremmell.
Mrs. Saucier was a loving wife and mother. She was a talented seamstress and over the years made countless number of clothing items ranging from baby clothes, cheerleader uniforms, wedding dresses, and many formals. She loved crafts, and spent her last months making quilts for her family and friends.
She had a ""never give up"" determination that inspired her family and many others around her. She loved dearly and will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
It was Mrs. Saucier's wish for her loved ones to gather at the grave site to bid her farewell. A graveside service will be held at 2 pm Wednesday, March 20, 2013, at Poplar Head Cemetery.
