~~ Ollie Faye Lee Fayard, age 89, a native and life-long resident of Woolmarket, passed away peacefully and met her Savior on Saturday, September 2, 2017.
She was born on March 27, 1928, was a member of Coalville United Methodist Church, the Eastern Star for over fifty years and served in various stations and as a Worthy Grand Matron. She retired from the Harrison County Circuit Court's office and she loved her family, traveling, fishing and spent many years working with and organizing trips for the D'Iberville Senior Citizens.
Ollie was preceded in death by her parents, John and Eula Anthony Lee; her husband of sixty six years, William Sylvester Fayard; her sisters, Doris Ross and Annie Ryder; and her brothers, James Lee, Robert Lee, and Jessie Lee.
She is survived by her son, William David Fayard; her daughter, Janice Laut (Chris); her four grandchildren, Leslee Curry, David Morrow, Lauren Garland and Regan Johnson; her eight great-grandchildren; her brothers, Hollie Lee, Lowell Lee, and Webb Lee; her sisters, Ruth Bartell and Iris Ryland; many nieces and nephews and her dear friend of many years, Ann Necaise.
The family would like to thank her care giver, Carol Redmond and SAAD hospice for taking such good care of her in her last years.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at Coalville United Methodist Church, Biloxi with a visitation for family and friends beginning one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Coalville Cemetery.
