Oliver Warden

Oliver Edward Warden, age 72, passed away Friday, March 13, 2020 in Gulfport.

Mr. Warden was a native and long-time resident of Gulfport. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in the Vietnam War. He loved to hunt and fish; and he loved his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and also the many loves of his life.

He was preceded in death by his father, Claude W. Warden, Sr.; his mother, Clonia B. Warden; and his sister, Lina Hickman.

Survivors include his daughters, Lacreannia Thomas (Lee) and Elizabeth McLeroy (John); his siblings, Claude W. Warden, Jr., Sammie D. Marshall, Winston O. Warden, Alfred R. Warden, Aubrey B. Warden, John D. Warden and Diana McCool; his grandchildren, Jeremy Rush, Cody Thomas and Raylan McLeroy; his great-grandchildren, Piper Marie Staples, Shelby Thomas and “Little Man” Rush; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation and services will be held on Monday, March 16th at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport. Visitation is from 12 to 2 p.m. with the funeral service following at 2 p.m.

Burial will follow at Free Church of God Cemetery in Gulfport.
