Oliver Chandler

Oliver Carlton Chandler, Jr., age 84 of Gautier, passed away on Wednesday, March 3, 2021.
He was a native of N. Charleston, South Carolina. He earned a Masters in Education-English at University of Southern Mississippi. Oliver retired from the US Air Force on July 1, 1974 as a Tech Sgt. And also retired as an English Teacher from D'Iberville Middle School.
He was preceded in death by his late wife, Jennie V. Jermyn Chandler; his father, Oliver Carlton Chandler, Sr.; his mother, Marie May Blackmon Chandler; and his grandson, Calen Chandler.
Oliver is survived by his wife of 29 years, Esther Anne Chandler; his children, Anthony Chandler, Kevin Chandler (Annette, Patrick Chandler (Nancy), Elizabeth Alderman (Chad); his step-daughter, Dawn Youmans (Joe); his sisters, Dorothy Chandler and Sharon Chandler; his grandchildren, Joshua Chandler (Erin), Allan Chandler, Jared Chandler (Mallory), Nathan Chandler, Kaitlin Chandler Kadinger (Jake), Harrison Chandler (Lindsy), Brent Chandler, Roslynne Alderman, and Dakota Alderman; his great grandchildren, Angel Chandler, Paige Chandler, Hayley Chandler, and Kyle Chandler.

A graveside service will be held at 2:30 PM, Thursday, March 11, 2021, at Biloxi National Cemetery.
