Odin Daniel Weydeveld

Odin Daniel Weydeveld, age 5 of Saucier, passed away on Saturday, January 21, 2023.

He was preceded in death by his great grandfather, Roger Conway Wald.

Odin is survived by his parents, Ryan Nikita and Hastings Grace Weydeveld of Saucier; his siblings, Manix William Lightfoot and Nikita Lee Weydeveld, both of Saucier; his grandparents, Timothy Andrew and Jennifer Marshall Weydeveld of Dubois, WY, Charles Lee and Marta Hurst Wald of Long Beach, MS, and Alki Milena Selinger of Santa Fe, NM; and his great grandparents, Carter Anthony “Corky” and Nancy Jo “Maggie” Weydeveld of Cheyenne, WY, Daniel Ralph and Sharon Hastings Hurst of Gulfport, MS, and Carole Cooper Wald of Franklin, TN.

Odin enjoyed helping around the farm, playing with his older brother and younger sister, and riding his horses.  His favorite pastime was riding his bike and going to the playground.  He especially loved the slide.  He enjoyed his beginner gymnastics class, going swimming, and playing all sorts of games.  His favorite holiday was Halloween -he loved dressing up-especially as spiderman.

He knew no fear, loved everyone, and was always having fun.  Odin was pure joy and the light of our lives.  He will continue to shine in our hearts forever.

A visitation will be held from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm, Tuesday, January 31, 2023, at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 19130 Commission Road, Long Beach.  The funeral service will begin at 2:00 PM in the funeral home chapel, followed by interment at Weydeveld Family Cemetery.
