Norris Donald Plummer

Norris Donald Plummer, age 79, of Woolmarket, passed away on April 30, 2013.
Mr. Plummer was born to Clinton and Nancy Plummer. He graduated from Woolmarket High School and served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was in the construction business most of his life and owned Plummer Construction. He was an avid basketball player, even into his senior years, and fishing was his favorite pastime.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his siblings, Virginia Fayard, Evelyn Cunsolo, C.M. Plummer, Bill Plummer, Herbert Plummer, Jimmy Plummer.
He is survived by his wife 53 years, Betty King Plummer of Woolmarket; children, Cyndy Tillman of Gulfport, Donny Plummer of Woolmarket, Johnny Plummer of Woolmarket, Suzy Price of Saucier; siblings, Stella Paige of Woolmarket and Dixie Schankin of Gulfport; 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 3, 2013, at Coalville United Methodist Church, from 1:30-3:00 p.m.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. in the church sanctuary.
Burial will follow at Woolmarket Cemetery.
