Norene Morton

Norene Morton, age 69, of Long Beach, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on December 30, 2016.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Morton; her parents, Andrew Glenn May and Anna Eleanor May; a brother, Jeffrey Lund May; and a brother-in-law, Michael Harvey McSpadden.
Survivors include her 2 children, Jerry (Kristye) Morton and Anna Morton; twin sister, Maureen Ann McSpadden; a brother, Gregory Lund (Shirley) May; a sister-in-law, Vicki May; 4 grandchildren, Valari, Haydin, Hadley, and Antonio; a nephew, Michael Harvey McSpadden, II; and other relatives and friends.
Mrs. Morton was a licensed nurse at the Boyington Nursing Center for 29 years and she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
Visitation will be on Monday, January 2, 2017, from 5 - 7 pm at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 19130 Commission Road, Long Beach. A graveside service will be held in Eternal Hills Memorial Gardens in Oceanside, CA.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
