Noah Curran
Masters
Apr 6, 1978 — Sep 25, 2026
Long Beach
Noah Curran Masters, 48, of Long Beach, Mississippi, died on September 24, 2026.
Noah is survived by his wife, Nicole Simoneaux Masters; his daughters, Milou and Magriete; his mother, Nan M. Curran; and Steven M. Singer, Nan’s partner of 13 years. He was preceded in death by his father, Donald J. Masters, Jr.
Noah is a proud native of New York City. He graduated high school with Honors from Brentwood College School on Vancouver Island, Canada, an experience that helped shape his interest in travel and the wider world. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Business and Economics with Honors from Lehigh University, and later a Masters in Applied Economics from the University of Michigan. He built a career that included work at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and a period living and working in London.
Noah and Nicole met in San Francisco, where they began their family, welcoming Milou and Magriete before moving to Amsterdam together and eventually settling in Mississippi.
Noah was a world traveler. He and Nicole shared many trips together including London, Barcelona, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Hong Kong, Panama, Mexico, Barbados, St. Vincent, Sardinia and Mallorca. Noah had friends all over the world and loved travelling with them to places including France, Germany, China, Thailand, Argentina, New Zealand, and Finland.
After spending time in Denver with his father, he continued rooting for Colorado sports teams his whole life. He also rooted for Arsenal, for no good reason whatsoever, and loved seeing his favorite team win a championship last season.
Above all else, he especially loved time with his daughters, whether playing chess or tennis, painting and drawing, cooking, watching movies together or teaching them to use his turntables. He will be missed by all of his girls, which includes not just Milou and Magriete, but also Chili dog and Princess Peach the cat.
Public visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at St. Peter’s by-the-Sea in Gulfport, followed by a prayer service at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Gulf Pines Memorial Gardens. A reception for family and friends will follow the burial in the Parish Hall at St. Peter’s.
Music was a big part of Noah's life. He loved listening to music, seeing it performed live, and creating playlists for the people in his life. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Coast Episcopal School Music Program at 5065 Espy Ave, Long Beach, MS 39560.
Riemann Family Funeral Homes, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, is honored to serve the Masters family.
