Newitt E. Rouse, age 50, and a resident of Saucier, was carried into eternity by angels to be forever comforted and to be reunited with his loving mother, Lenna Faye Rouse on June 9, 2016.
Newitt was a lifetime member of Saucier United Methodist Church and Palmer Creek Methodist Campground. He graduated from Harrison Central High School in 1984. Although Newitt did not live a typical life, every day was a journey for him and everyone who loved him. We cannot control many of the circumstances this life brings us, but we are promised to be useful to the Master. Newitt taught us all what unconditional love looked like and was truly a blessing to us all.
Survivors include his father, Tony Rouse; brother, Ted (Memory) Rouse; sisters, Deanna (Keith) Cavalier and Christina (Brian) White; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews; and his one true love & lifelong friend, Pam Curvin (Greg) Taylor.
The family would like to thank our family members, friends, care givers, and Antioch Baptist Church (Long Beach) for their care and compassion throughout Newitt's life journey.
Friends are invited to join the Rouse family for visitation, Saturday, June 11th from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport. The funeral service will be held Sunday, June 12th at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Wedgeworth Cemetery.
