Nellie Marie Sonnier Williams

Mrs. Nellie Marie Sonnier Williams, 86, passed away Thursday, December 17, 2015, in her home surrounded by her family and loved ones.
Mrs. Williams was born in Biloxi to Della Comeaux Sonnier and Oleus Sonnier on November 8, 1929, at 8 o'clock in the morning, in the eighth house. She has been a lifelong member of the Catholic Church with a deep faith in Our Lord and Our Mother Mary.
She was a retiree from the BellSouth Corporation as a Training Supervisor after 35 years.
Mrs. Williams had many enjoyable hobbies: gardening, cooking, photography, and of course, being with her family. She had a true passion for loving life and always making sure that everyone in her life received her love and care.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Anthony Williams; her parents; her siblings, Sylvia Diaz, Danny Sonnier, Harold Sonnier, Ethel Tirrell, and Julius Sonnier.
Survivors include her children, Sandra Williams Fountain and Ken Williams; siblings, Carol Sonnier, Esther Marsh, George Sonnier, John Sonnier, Mary Brochard, and Alice Goff; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be 2:00 p.m. on Monday, December 21, 2015 at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, where friends may visit from 12:30 p.m. until the Mass.
Interment will follow in Biloxi City Cemetery.
