Nathan Holder

Nathan Bedford Forrest Holder, Sr., age 51, of Mobile, AL, passed away on Wednesday, February 22, 2017.
Born August 12, 1965, to Allen DeVan Holder, Sr. and Betty Lou Holder of Long Beach, Nathan was a graduate of Long Beach High School and attended Perkinston Junior College. He was employed for many years in the automobile industry along the coast and was an avid Alabama football fan, loved crawfish, and playing golf.
Nathan was preceded in death by his children, Courtney Michele Holder and Nathan Bedford Forrest, Jr.; and his father, Allen DeVan Holder, Sr., all of Long Beach.
He is survived by his wife, Grindle Blackmon Holder of Mobile, AL; daughter, Sarah Elizabeth Holder of Mobile, AL; his mother, Betty Lou Holder of Long Beach; siblings, Alice Holder Mandal (Bobby), Jason DeVan Holder, Allen DeVan Holder, Jr., and Robert Grady Holder, Sr.; and his stepson, James Eric Langston of Sumrall, MS.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2017, at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 19130 Commission Road, Long Beach, from 8:30-10:00 a.m. Funeral services will follow in the chapel.
Burial will be in Long Beach City Cemetery.
