Nathan V. Ferguson, age 91, formerly of Gulfport passed away Wednesday, April 10, 2013 in Jackson, MS.
Mr. Ferguson was a U. S. Army Veteran of World War II, having served under Gen. George Patton.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Ada Moorehead Ferguson; his wife, Margie C. Ferguson; his son, Jerry Wade Ferguson; and his sister, Clara McGee. He is survived by two step-sons: Paul J. Hanley and his wife Cheri, and Timothy M. Hanley, all of Mesa, Arizona; and his grandchildren: Jeffrey Hanley, Michael Hanley, Amanda Oliva, Nicole Kelley, Catelyn Kelley, and Jeremy Kelley.
Friends are invited to visit from 10:00 a.m. until 10:50 a.m., Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 274 Beauvoir Road, Biloxi. The graveside service with military honors will follow at 11:00 a.m. at Biloxi National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Lynn Meadows Discovery Center, 246 Dolan Avenue, Gulfport, MS 39507.
