Nathan Earl Cuevas, Sr., age 87, of Pass Christian, passed away on February 19, 2023.
He was born in Lizana to Melvin and Eva Cuevas. He worked at the green house in Long Beach and retired from Chattanooga Glass. During his retirement he worked at Diamondhead Golf Course in the maintenance department. He served his country in the U.S. Navy.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Eva Gay Cuevas; his parents; his stepmother, Willie Cuevas; grandson, Justin Holley; and siblings, Johnny, Nolan, Kenny, Gerald “Pee Wee”, and Jerry.
He is survived by his children, Janice Holley (Eddie), Gayle Ladner, Earl Cuevas (Judy), and Kirk Cuevas (Saprina); siblings, Willie Mae Peterson, Jessie Mae Holland (Archie), Billy Ray Cuevas, and J.D. Cuevas; grandchildren, Patrick and Dustin Ladner, Peyton Cuevas; and great grandchildren, Alexa, Addisyn, Adalyn, Braiden.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2023, at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, at 10:00 am. Visitation will be held one hour prior.
Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery at Rotten Bayou.
