Nancy L. Mac Millan, 81, passed away Thursday, March 24, 2016 in Gulfport.
Mrs. Mac Millan was a long-time resident of Gulfport. She was a veteran of the United States Air Force and she retired as an Addiction Therapist from the Gulfport VA. She was a member of the MS City United Methodist Church, the American Legion, and was a 39 year member of the Friends of Bill W. (AA).
She was preceded in death by her son, Donald L. Mac Millan; son-in-law, John L. Pullen III; father, Dale Sprague; mother, Julia Sprague; step-mother, Mary Sprague; and 3 siblings, Marcia Balcom, Donna Lee Roslyn and Thomas Sprague.
Survivors include her children, Donna L. Kromer, Dee Dee Pullen, Valerie Felts (Stan) and Lt. Colonel Robert Mac Millan (Major Bertha Mac Millan); 5 grandchildren, Stanley D. Felts, Robert M. Felts, Alexander R. Mac Millan, Kirby M. Pullen and John C. Pullen; and 3 great-grandchildren, Cannon L. Felts, Aurora E. Felts and Jackson W. Felts.
Visitation will be held from 12 to 1:00 p.m., with the Funeral Service at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, April 1st at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, MS. Burial with military honors will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the kindness and care given to their mother by Gentiva Hospice, especially Sharon Tadej, Chaplain Jan Lofties, Kristen Williams, Robbie Ishee, Virginia Atha and Debbie Fountain; and also to the staff at Driftwood Nursing Home. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Gentiva Hospice.
