Born in Watertown, SD and married in Regensburg, Germany, she passed away on September 13, 2017.
Survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Joseph M. Gurneck; 4 children, Joseph (Pricilla), Daniel (Lisa), Donald, Cathy (David); 7 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren.
She was a loving wife and devoted mother. She spent 20 years as a teacher in the Long Beach School District.
A visitation will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 23, 2017 at St. Patrick's Episcopal Church in Long Beach followed by the church service at 10:00 a.m., and a reception at 11:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers please give to the Harrison County Humane Society.
