Myrtis Maples

Myrtis M. Maples, age 91 and a resident of Orange Park, FL, died on Friday, September 6, 2013, at Haven Hospice in Orange Park. She was born in Logtown, MS on April 4, 1922.
Mrs. Maples was preceded in death by her parents, Dave & Mary Hover; her first husband, Dana K. Murphy; her second husband, Charles Maples, Jr., and her brother, David Hover.
She is survived by her daughters, Diane (Jim) Holt and Debora (Mike) Plonski; her sisters, Ethel Fordham and Anna (Ray) Smith; 6 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 11, 2013, at 12:30pm at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Road in Gulfport, where friends may visit one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery.
