Myrta Mae Ladner, 89, of Lizana, passed away on Monday, June 15, 2026, in Lizana. She was a native of Harrison County and a lifelong resident of Lizana.

Myrta was preceded in death by her husband, Elward J. Ladner; her mother, Luvenia Saucier; and her father, Gilmer Saucier.

She is survived by her children, Elizabeth (Gary) Gilliland and Marcelin “Bubbie” Ladner; her grandchildren, Brian (Jennifer Fredenberg) Gilliland and Marc (Alex) Gilliland; and her great-grandchild, Micah James Gilliland.

Myrta loved spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed puzzle books and playing Bonco with her friends. She was of the Catholic faith.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, beginning at 10:00 a.m until 11:00 am. at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 9113 Kiln Delisle Road, Pass Christian, Mississippi 39571. Burial will follow the visitation at Wolf River Cemetery.
