Muriel McCoy

Muriel McCoy, age 92, of Diamondhead, passed away on October 12, 2016.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Oliver Latour and Aline Latour.
Muriel is survived by her husband of 72 years, Thomas L. McCoy, Jr. or Diamondhead, MS; her children, Martin Bradley McCoy and his wife Beverly of Sioux Falls, SD and Terrie McCoy Ledbetter of Diamondhead, MS; her siblings, Jewel Latour Gavitt of Greenville, NC and Oliver J. Latour, Jr. of Silver Hills, AL; her grandchildren, Tiffany McCoy, Craig Smith, Jr. and his wife Dusty, Kelly Smith Reese and her husband Brandon, Justin VanderVorste and his wife Megan, Jeff VanderVorste and his wife Stephanie, and Kaity McCoy Sebern and her husband Ben; and nine great grandchildren.
She was a member of Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Pass Christian. She was an avid bridge player and a member of the Krewe of Diamondhead who, with her husband, Tom, enjoyed Mardi Gras festivities. She and Tom enjoyed traveling, fishing, and square dancing. Muriel was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, October 17, 2016 at 12:30 PM at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Kiln Delisle Rd, Pass Christian with a visitation for family and friends from 11:00 AM until the Mass. Burial will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery.
