Muriel Johnson

Muriel T. Johnson, age 84, of Gulfport, passed away on June 5, 2018.
She was preceded in death by her son, Donald Lloyd Johnson; her mother, Ozelle Taylor; and 2 brothers, Roger Taylor and Jack Taylor.
Survivors include her husband of 61 years, TSgt Harold L. Johnson; her children, Deborah Yarbrough (Owen), Terry Caudill (Renae), Tammy McHugh (Greg), and David Johnson (Karen); a brother, Harold Taylor (Pauline); her grandchildren, Curt Prestwood (Stacie), Carrie Bullock (Mark), Ryan McHugh (Kristie), Jeris Caudill, Jason McHugh (Terra), Derik Caudill (Jamie), Daniel Johnson, Jeremy McHugh, Aleyna Butler (Blake), and Lisa Sweet (Scott); 17 great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
She was a native of Greensboro, NC and was a long time resident of Gulfport.  She loved reading and watching the Atlanta Braves.  Mrs. Johnson was a member of Grace Memorial Baptist Church.
Visitation will be on Thursday, June 7, 2018, from 9 - 11 am at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport.  A funeral service will be at 11 am in the funeral home chapel.   Interment will be in Biloxi National Cemetery.
