Monnie Pauline Brown Little, age 93, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on June 26, 2013 after bravely fighting a long illness.
Mrs. Little was born in Lumberton, MS, but spent most of her adult years raising her family and being a home maker in Long Beach. She found great joy in serving her Lord through Long Beach First Baptist Church.
She is survived by her loving husband of 73 years, Robert Eugene Little and their three children: Monnie Rose Little Shirley of Apopka, FL, Robert Eugene Little, Jr. (Nell) of Foxworth, MS, and Juanita Marlene Little Kresse (Robert) of Panama City, FL. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at First Baptist Church, Long Beach on Saturday, June 29 at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be at 10:00 a.m. prior to the service. Interment will follow at Long Beach City Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the His Church Rising Building Fund of First Baptist Church of Long Beach.
