Millie Dianne Newman, age 64, of Gulfport, passed away on May 27, 2015.
She was preceded in death by her father, Larry G. Newman, and her step-father, Ralph Herren.
Survivors include her mother, Naomi Dedeaux Newman Herren, a brother, Eddie Loren Newman, and his children, Kelli Newman and Wesley Newman, 2 step-brothers, Jeff Herren and Phillip Herren, and 2 step-sisters, Pam (Kent) Kitchens, and Brenda Davis, nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
She was a native and longtime resident of Gulfport and worked for the city in the Public Works Department. While living in New Orleans, she worked as an administrator with Mobil Oil Company. She enjoyed sailing, tennis, softball, and gardening.
Visitation will be on Sunday, May 31, 2015, from 1 - 2 PM at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport. The funeral service will be at 2 PM in the funeral home chapel.
Burial will be in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
Memorials may be made to the Gulf Coast Seventh Day Adventist Church, 13301 Shriners Blvd., Biloxi, MS 39532, or the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
