Angelique Michele LeBlanc Baylor, age 45, of Gulfport, passed away on Monday, September 23, 2013, in Gulfport.
She was a graduate of Mercy Cross High School and also from USM with a Bachelor's Degree in Finance and Business. She worked for Hancock Bank and Sun Bank as a teller and was the office manager for AG Edwards - Wells Fargo Financial Advisors for 20 years. She was a member of Krewe of Athena Carnival Club.
Michele was the best friend anyone could ever have. She was loyal, trustworthy, dependable, compassionate, and always putting others first before herself. She never met a stranger and always went the extra mile to better herself. Michele never complained or let her pain or hurt feelings be known and she was always smiling and laughing. Her favorite things were watching her daughter horseback ride, watching her son play baseball, going to the movies with the kids, going to the beach, being around friends and family, and enjoyed getting up and going to work. She fought a battle with cancer and she never gave up always trusting with deep faith in God. She attended St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church in Long Beach.
The family would like to thank Dr. Allison Wall and her staff, Gentiva Hospice staff, nurses, chaplain, and social services and also MHG Chaplain Martin Gilliland, and dear friends Dr. Craig Dawkins and wife Paulette Dawkins.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Mary and Jesse LeBlanc, Sylvia Deen, and Morris Ates.
She was a devoted mother to Gabrielle Baylor and Ashton Baylor, loving and devoted daughter to Chet and Charlotte LeBlanc, loving sister to her brother and family, David Michael LeBlanc Shannon LeBlanc, Adam LeBlanc, and Alexandra LeBlanc. Other family members include, Brent Baylor, (Father of their children Gabrille and Ashton), Ashley (Baylor) Ellison, Sandy Hill and Buddy Baylor (deceased), aunts and uncles, Brenda and Dave Smith and family, Ann and Joe Milazzo and family, Fredna and David Bennet and family, Nathan and Beth LeBlanc and family, Allen and Diane LeBlanc and family, and numerous other relatives and special friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 3:00 PM on Friday, September 27, 2013 at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 720 E Beach Blvd., Long Beach. Visitation will be from 1 - 3 pm in the church.
