Michael Vincent Edwards, 41, of Gulfport, passed away on April 25, 2026.

Michael was a resident of Gulfport and a graduate of Gulfport High School. He was employed by Dan Hensarling, Inc., where he was known for his strong work ethic and skill, particularly in carpentry and trim work.

He had a passion for fishing, working on cars, and attending races. Michael will be remembered as an outgoing and fun-loving individual who could always bring a smile to those around him. He was a devoted father, son, and brother who was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Tina Edwards; his grandparents, John Edwards Jr., Evelyn Bradley, Bill Bradley, Hubert Ray Smith, and Lois Smith.

He is survived by his son, Matthew Edwards; his father, Martin Edwards; his grandmother, Elizabeth Edwards; his brothers, Tommy Edwards (Lauren) and Justin Edwards (Shanon); and his uncles, John C. Edwards III and Richard E. Edwards (Sharon). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
