Michael E. """"Mike"""" Price, 66, of Valdosta, GA, formerly of Gulfport died Monday, October 2, 2006 in Valdosta.
Mr. Price was a native of New Orleans, LA and lived in Gulfport most of his life before moving to Valdosta, GA. He was a 1958 graduate of St. John High School. He was employed as a pipefitter with Popham Mechanical Engineering. He was also a member of Pipefitters Local #72. He enjoyed Iron Working and was an avid reader.
He was preceded in death by his father, Otho E. Price.
Survivors include his mother, Ildred Price, Gulfport, 4 children, Denise (Dan) Seaman, Muscle Shoals, AL, Garry (Vicki) Price, DeLisle, Regina (Billy) Stutts, Gulfport, and Susan Idigpio, Gulf Shores, AL, one sister, Patricia Price Smith, Gulfport, 7 grandchildren, Rikki Tippins, Patrick Pucheu, Brandon Price, Jessica Price, Gabriel Idigpio, Lexus Idigpio, and Julie Stutts, 1 great-grandchild, Abrianna Rich, and all of his friends and extended family at Popham Mechanical Engineering and Clyattville, GA.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am Saturday, October 7, 2006 at St. Thomas Catholic Church, 5577 Daughtery Rd., Long Beach. Visitation will be from 10 - 11 am Saturday at the church.
Interment will be in Evergreen Gardens Cemetery.
