Michael Mizell

Michael Anthony Mizell, age 46, passed away July 10, 2022.

He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth M. Mizell; grandparents, Kenneth R. Mizell and Faye Mizell; and maternal grandparents, Arpod Bodish and Lillian Bodish.

Michael is survived by his loving wife, Michele Mizell; his children, Madison Adams, Jolyna Young, and Kathy Young; his mother, Nancy Mizell; his brother, Barry Mizell (Miranda); and his nephew, Kaden Mizell.

He was born and raised in Gulfport, MS. Michael worked at DME Express as a delivery and service technician for 6 years.

He was a “simple kind of man.” He was selfless, generous, and loving. Mike was a talented guitar player and singer, but he would humbly tell you that he was just “good enough”.

He was a wonderful and loving son, brother, husband, and father.

A memorial will be held 2-6pm, Sunday, July 24, 2022, at McHenry Community Center, 209 McHenry Avenue, McHenry, MS 39561.
