Michael James ""Governor"" McGovern, age 66, of Gulfport, passed away on September 14, 2014.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Lois McGovern.
Survivors include his wife, Gina McGovern, 3 children, Cari Lynn Laszlo, Michelle Rhoades, and Jon Michael McGovern, 3 grandchildren, Sara Rhoades, Olivia Laszlo, and Veronica Laszlo, and 1 great-grandchild, A.J. Jones, and many friends.
The ""Gov"" enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson, listening to music, and was a car enthusiast.
The family will have a private memorial service at their residence.
