Michael David Masters was born on January 31, 1958 in Rantoul, Illinois.
He is preceded in death by his father Robert D. Masters Sr. and brother Robert D. Masters Jr.
He is survived by his son, Randall Masters, daughter Katrina Compton his mother Norma Masters, sister Toni Deakle, niece Kelly Clayton, nephew Robert P. Masters, three grandchildren and several great nephews and niece.
Mike lived most of his life on the Gulf Coast He played football for Harrison Central High where he graduated in 1975. He was employed at Turnbull Industries in Gulfport for a while and retired from Diamond Offshore Drilling as a driller after 25yrs.
Mike enjoyed watching football especially the New Orleans Saints and had a love for John Wayne movies.
Visitation will be held for family and friends at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday February 8, 2014 followed by memorial services at 4:00 p.m. at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport.
In lieu of flowers the family prefers memorial contributions to be made to the American Diabetes Association.
