Michael l. Grant, a resident of Gulfport, passed away on his birthday, January 28, 2018, at the age of 62.  His birthday gift was he no longer had to suffer from his illness. He was loved so much by so many people in our community. He counseled and mentored troubled teens and young adults. There were so many testimonies of life saving  encouragement as they became successful adults. He loved to pitch them cards as a  dealer at our local casinos. Mike was always the life of every event and lived his life to the fullest. He never let his illness stop him from bringing happiness to others. Mike donated his body to science in hopes of a cure. Mike left behind an amazing and honorable legacy with dignity. A GO FUND ME account has been set up to help his son with finale expenses and to support him in school.
