Michael George, Sr.

Michael George, age 62, of Pass Christian, passed away Thursday, January 19, 2023.

Mike was a native of River Ridge, LA.  He attended River Dale High School in Jefferson, LA.  Mike worked as a mechanic at a number of places over the years including Highlines Construction Co., Professional Forklift, Crown Equipment, and Chrisman Manufacturing Inc.

Mike loved being outdoors.  He loved hunting deer, fishing and four wheeling.  He also loved to listen to a powerful stereo.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Malcolm, and Agnes George.

Michael is survived by his children, Michael (Jessica) George of Pass Christian, and Joshua (Christy) George  of Baton Rouge, LA; siblings, Rachel George of Sacramento, CA, Nannette (Damon) Gaspard of Cotton Port, LA; grandchildren, Brennan George, Hannah George, Zoe Munozcano, Josie George; other relatives, Eddie Paul McGuire, Henry McGuire, Sheri McGuire, Earl McGuire, Jr., Rhonda McGuire and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members.

A celebration of Mike’s life is planned for April 8, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at the home of Michael and Jessica George.
