Michael "Mike" Franklin

Michael ""Mike"" Lynn Franklin, 51, a lifelong resident of Saucier, passed away Sunday, December 20, 2015.
Mike was an avid hunter and fisherman and was a member of Michael Memorial Baptist Church. He was self-employed working in construction.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Birl and Birdie Franklin; his siblings, James Kenneth Franklin, Tommy Dean Franklin, Gwen Ladnier and Rev. Terry Franklin; and his mother-in-law, JoAnn Blum. He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Lynell Franklin; son, Anthony Franklin; daughter Alyssa Rogers; grandchildren, Hunter and Layla Rogers; siblings, Mary Cyr, Joan Campton (John) and David Franklin (Tammy); father-in-law, Lionel Blum; his nieces and nephews; and his pet dachshunds that he and Lynell breed and raised.
Mike will be missed by all that knew him and he will be remembered for someone who would do anything for anyone. Memorial contributions in his memory may be made to Michael Memorial Baptist Church.
Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, December 26th at Michael Memorial Baptist Church, with the funeral service beginning at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at Blum Family Cemetery in Saucier.
