Mr. James Michael Ford, age 48, resident of Gulfport, passed away on Saturday, June 13, 2009, in Gulfport.
Mr. Ford was born in Natchez and was a lifelong resident of the Coast. He worked as a project coordinator for Northrup Grumman in Pascagoula, and he enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially hunting and fishing.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Penny Lou Ford, and brother, Joe F. Ford, Jr.
He is survived by his wife, Amanda Ford; parents, Joe and Mary Lou Ford; daughters, Jennifer Hall her husband Ben, and Megan Ford, all of Gulfport; and brothers, Grady L. Ford and his wife Lisa of Saucier, and Robert T. Ford of Gulfport.
Funeral services will be held at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11213 Highway 49 North, Gulfport, on Monday, June 15, 2009, at 2p.m. Friends may visit two hours prior to services. Burial will follow at 3:30p.m. at Hickory Creek Cemetery in Lumberton.
