Michael Fargo

Michael Raymond Fargo, age 72 of Gulfport, passed away Tuesday, April 20, 2021.

Michael was a native of Batesville where he attended the First Baptist Church of Batesville. He served in the U.S. Army 1970-1972. Following service to his country, Michael attended MS Gulf Coast Community College where he earned an Associates Degree in surveying. He went on to work as a security guard at the Port of Anchorage, Alaska for 23 years. He enjoyed fishing and reading.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Hastings W. (Doc) Fargo and Dorothy Faye Fargo.

He is survived by a brother, Douglas F. Fargo of Clermont, GA and a sister, Wynna "Faye" Smith of Gulfport, MS.
