Merrill Andrew Lonnborg

Merrill Andrew Lonnborg, age 71, of Ocean Springs, MS passed away November 10,2023 in New Orleans, LA.  He was born In Englewood New Jersey to the late Walter and Catherine Saul Lonnborg.

He was preceded in death by two brothers Walter Lonnborg Jr. and Harold Timothy Lonnborg.  Merrill leaves his cherished memories to his loving wife Ann Lonnborg; three sons Merrill Andrew Lonnborg II, Jim Wetherington (Julia), and Rodney Wetherington (Lisa); five grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; as well as many friends and neighbors. 

Merrill graduated from Gulfport East High School.  He was member of Parkway Baptist Church in Biloxi, MS. Merrill worked 43 years as a pipefitter for Ingalls shipyard and retired as a Master Shipbuilder. He was a Boy Scout Master for 22 years.

In recognition of Merrill’s life, visitation will take place on Saturday, November 18, 2023, from 11:00 AM until time of services at 12:00 PM at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 13872 Lemoyne Blvd, West Jackson County, Biloxi, MS 39532.
