Merle Daphne Miller age 78, originally from Suffolk County England and longtime resident of Biloxi, passed away in New Orleans, LA, on Thursday, October 4, 2018.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Dennis and Audrey Jones, of Aldeburgh, England.
Merle is survived by her children, Ricki A. Fuller, Linda L. Durbin, Dawn Wagner (John), and Rusty W. Miller; one brother, Melvyn Jones of Aldeburgh, England; grandchildren, Shannon, Shawn, Michelle, Megan, James, Lauren, Zachary, Ryan and Margaret; and her great-grandchildren, Jayleigh, Eyllianna, Arabella, Ryleight, Makenna, Aurora, Ellie and Makaylah; one cousin, Vander Hussey and a host of friends and relatives.
Merle was a devoted military wife and loving mother, she worked at Keesler Commissary for many years and downtown at the Biloxi farmers market selling her home canned fruits, jelly's and pickles that she so enjoyed making along with working in her garden and attending her bee's. She loved all animals.
A memorial service will be held on October 9, 2018 at 7:00 pm with visitation for friends from 5:00 pm until service time at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 13872 Lemoyne Blvd, at Washington Ave. in West Jackson County.
