Mercedes Valder

Mercedes Fely Valder, our beloved mother, grandmother, and friend to many, entered into eternal peace on October 10, 2014.
On March 17, 1973, she was joined in holy matrimony to our beloved Father, Harold W. Valder, with whom she spent many years, and from this union came four blessings: Desiree, Vicky, Deborah, and Holly.
Mercedes leaves behind a legacy of love and treasured memories. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Mercedes loved to have beautiful flowers, growing a vegetable garden, and playing golf. She was a proud and dedicated military spouse.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Harold W. Valder.
Mercedes leaves to celebrate a life with Christ and leaves behind her children, Desiree Valder Thompson of Charlotte, N.C., Vicky Valder (Megan Donoho) of Charlotte, N.C., Deborah Abbot (Adam) of San Diego, CA, and Holly Webb Valder of Gulfport, MS; grandchildren: Brittani Valder, Landon Jackson, Ethan Harriel, Ashley Harriel, Evan Valder-Rasch, Aidan Abbot, and Brennan Abbott.
The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at 7:00 PM at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Rd, Gulfport with a visitation for family and friends from 5:00 PM until the service. A private burial will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery.
