Melonie Ladner Waltman

Melonie Ladner Waltman, age 67, of DeLisle, passed away on December 2, 2024.

She is preceded in death by her parents, R.S. "Boots" Ladner and Doris Netto Ladner.

Melonie is survived by her husband of 50 years, Patrick Waltman; daughter, Amanda (Shane) Cuevas; sister, Cynthia (Joe) Newman; grandchildren, Emily (Colton) Crawford and Ethan (MacKenzie) Cuevas; her cousin, Diane Lane Leblanc; and her best friend of over 60 years, Donna Ladner.

She was a resident of DeLisle and graduated from Pass Christian High School. Melonie ran an in-home daycare for many years.

She enjoyed cooking and feeding everyone who visited her home. Her greatest joys were her grandchildren, Emily and Ethan.

The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to Dr. Tullos and staff for his amazing care during Melonie's illness.

Visitation will be on Friday, December 6, 2024, from 10 - 11 am at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 9062 Kiln DeLisle Road, Pass Christian.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 am in the church.  Interment will be in Old DeLisle Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
