Melissa O'Neal Harper, 56, a resident of McHenry, passed away Sunday, May 29, 2016. Melissa was a member of Michael Memorial Baptist Church and was a teacher of English and Drama in Louisiana and at Harrison Central High School.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlene Mallett O'Neal and Shirley D. O'Neal. She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Ricky Harper; her children, BreAnn Harper and Zachary Harper; her siblings, Penny (James) Alexander, Dianne Johnson, Patricia (Billy) Johnson, Robert O'Neal, Gary (Lynn) O'Neal, Timothy O'Neal, Mary (Keith) Kirkland and James O'Neal; and her numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Sunday, June 5th at Michael Memorial Baptist Church on John Clarke Road from 2:30 to 4:00 p.m., with the Memorial Service beginning at 4:00 p.m.
