Megan Lindsey Ladner Delgado, age 36, passed away in her home in Bay Saint Louis, Mississippi, on June 19, 2025. She battled a terminal disease for many years and despite her condition, she lived life to the fullest; attending soccer games, hosting friends and family and attending church every Sunday. Her passing leaves a profound void in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
Born on September 22, 1988, Megan grew up in Necaise, Mississippi. She graduated from Hancock High School (Class of 2007). Megan attended Pearl River Community College and studied Biochemistry at the University of Southern Mississippi before earning her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Samford University in 2014.
Megan dedicated her professional life to healing and counseling patients and loved ones. She began her career working at Rite Aid in Edgewater, Maryland. As the Pharmacy Manager at Midtown Pharmacy in Bay Saint Louis, she was known for keeping the doors open late and personally delivering medicine to her patients front porch. Her work touched many lives in the community she called home.
Beyond her career, Megan found joy and fulfillment in many aspects of life. She was a talented water painter who expressed herself by creating portraits of family members and pets. A devoted mother who home-schooled her children with care and creativity, she nurtured both their minds and spirits. Her love for gardening reflected her nurturing nature—she cultivated beauty wherever she went. She was a talented singer, amateur woodworker that made miniature barbie furniture for her kids and best of all a talented mentor who could give life advice to anyone young or old.
Megan’s faith was central to her life. She was a devout Christian and active church member. She grew up attending Shiloh Baptist Church and Hillcrest Baptist Church where she was an active member of the youth group. She served the Lord with joy, ministering Vacation Bible School and Foster camps for kids. She led the planning committee at Salt Light Baptist Church in Waveland, Mississippi, and lived out her beliefs with grace and humility.
She is survived by her loving husband, Mario Delgado; her children, Oliver and Audrey Delgado; her parents, Eddie and Tammie Ladner; her siblings, Mallerie Ladner and Aaron (Stefanie) Ladner; brother-in-law, Eduardo (Tanya) Delgado; Mother-in-law, Eulalia Delgado; Nephews and Nieces, Avery, Hallie, Eva, Emery, Elyse, and Emily. Their lives were enriched by Megan’s love, strength, and unwavering support.
Megan’s memory will live on through the countless lives she touched—with every kind word spoken at the pharmacy counter, every lesson taught at home, every flower planted in bloom, every creation she made. May her memory bring comfort to those who knew her and serve as a lasting reminder of a life lived with purpose and love.
