Maura Shannon Cook, age 81, passed away on June 20, 2026, in Gulfport, MS.  She was born in Lafayette, Louisiana and grew up in Pass Christian, MS.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lynn Evan Cook and Irene Northrop Cook; her brother, Lynn Evan Cook, Jr.; and her sister, Kathleen Trochesset.  She leaves behind her nieces, nephews and other loving family members and friends. 

There will be a Graveside Service held at 12:30 p.m., Friday, June 26, 2026, at St. Paul Cemetery, St. Paul Street, Pass Christian, MS.
